The article "The Large Hadron Collider Rap" by Mr. Fisch is ridiculously true. The article talks about how the large hadron collider information was made into a rap song on you tube to supposedly help students understand it better. I saw the rap on you tube and I can not really make heads or tails of it. Is this for real? Why would people make a rap song about something so serious? Is it to help students better understand the subject? In my opinion I find it to be a great way to understand something better because I am a visual learner and a more hands on learner. So by hearing and seeing this rap song or poetry song or whatever song it is, it helps me get a better grasp on it. It's almost like it hypnotizes you, and even if you don't quite understand it you can still almost repeat the entire rap over again and in a way it is stuck in your head for good. At the same time though, I find it to be over dramatic. I say this because they are over doing it with rapping. It's one thing if they are singing but RAPPING!!! I mean I understand that they are doing it for the good of the students, but seriously who wants to see a bunch of white girls and guys rapping! It's just like Bill Nye the science guy. At first sure, he is pretty funny and tolerant but after a while you just get tired of the guy. So in my opinion it's a good thing to have these goofy educational videos but at the same time a bad thing. The fact of the matter is are you a visual learner who learns with what they see or are you an aural learner who learns by listening?
